This class works really well on a day where you need some quiet time, time to recover and a good stretch. All postures are either seated or lying down. For extra comfort use a thick mat or stick a blanket on top of your yoga mat and simply follow the instructions. Starts with a full body stretch, followed by postures to release tension in hip-flexors, quads, hamstrings and adductors. Then a back extension and finish with a gentle spinal twist before you relax for a couple of minutes.

If you have more than 50 mins to spare for your yoga practice, we recommend you hit pause just before you lie down for relaxation and stay there for an extra 10 mins.

Equipment: two yoga bricks or a folded blanket/big towel.

This class is aimed at students of all levels. Please ensure you are practising in a suitable environment and spacious area.
