Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a skilful method of massage developed by Kusum Modak from Pune in India. She combines traditional Indian massage with postures inspired by Yoga. It has become respected by specialists in health and well-being across the world and is recognised as one of the most comprehensive therapeutic techniques. The complete method includes 120 manoeuvres.
The treatment is characterised by slow and deep massage using natural oils and powder. Expect tissue stimulation using gliding movements, traction and pressure with both hands and feet improving the circulation and preparing the body for yoga stretches including extension, flexion and twists.
It is a full body treatment that releases tension in the muscles, increases flexibility and helps the body to re-gain natural health and vitality. The massage takes place on a big mattress on the floor and is suitable for everyone. The therapist will do the work so you can focus on your breathing and relax deeply.
