Jack was one of the pioneers of British Triathlon’s Talent Identification and Development programme. From 2001-2008 he ran a squad which saw a number of junior athletes come through the ranks to achieve senior success. Most notably the double Olympic medallists Alistair and Jonny Brownlee but also Olympian Gordon Benson and European U23 champion Lois Rosindale.
Jack has experience of developing all aspects of junior programmes including selection, programme design, athlete retention and coach development.
He went on to develop a programme at the two major Leeds-based Universities. This became the most successful student programme in the UK and eventually supported over 70 athletes across four squads.
We are currently working with the Bermuda Triathlon Association and with junior athletes in the UK, Malta and Trinidad and Tobago.
